Momentary

Baby, you left me with such a grand concept that started shifting my understanding before you'd left.

And when you turned around that second last time my memory made an imprint of your beautiful countenance.

Though it's only a few days I put my shoes on to watch you drive out and through the lights.

When great things change there is sorrow and release,
and bravery to make the change.

Though nothing has changed, just perspective, the outward likeness does not justify the great reposition.

But nothing has changed. And now it's everything. Everything hasn't changed. The most important attributes are in relief. And relief brings the tears.

The most important things have come to light. Now it's time to focus on those.
